It's been awhile so here's what we've been up to lately...

Kirk's birthday. The kids were teasing him that it was his 40th birthday...they're not too far off.

Our friends invited us to spend the weekend in McCall to go sledding. The kids had a blast! Here's Faith...

Chase started basketball this year. He loves it! The season is almost over...he has his first tournament game tonight.
I know some of you may be surprised that I actually posted this pic. So am I frankly. But the story warrants it. I had just come home from the dentist and half my face was numb. Chase saw me walk through the door and wanted to know why I looked weird. I told him my face was paralyzed but it wasn't a big deal. I started laughing which only made things worse and he came over and gave me a hug w/tears in his eyes. Shame on me...but I couldn't help myself. He was slightly relieved to find out it was temporary. Thank goodness! (The chocolate smear above my lip was from the Butterfinger I found in the car. Now I know how my dad feels).

Innocent Ty...
but not so innocent Crew. If Crew were older, he'd be in time out for a week. He managed to clog our toilet w/a baby moniter, pencils, maybe Kirk's ipod (it's missing) and many other things. Kirk had the fun job of lifting the whole toilet up to find the clog. During the procedure, the tank was cracked...so we had to buy a new one. Just yesterday little C-bear (as Chase calls him) took our only phone that wasn't lost and used it to try to get a drink out of the fridge. It's now broken and we are unable to receive any calls. Leave us a message...we'll call you back on our cell phones.

Wow, I must say that I'm a little shocked to see that you posted the picture of your numb face. I don't know if I could do that. Wouldn't that suck if it stayed that way forever? Eeeee.
When was this? I guess it didn't last too long. The kids are so cute.
That picture of you reminded me of mom. You should have had Laura come over and take pictures of you and kirk for this year's christmas card.

I suppose that will make up for the slackage :) Awesome pic of Faith catching air, hilarious pic of your numb mouth (we have a picture of Liz, Brett, and I all smiling crooked and flaring just one nostril somewhere - too funny), and naughty Crew!!! Who says you can't start time out now?? :)

I love the mischief stories about the twins. If Maxwell and them got into trouble it could get ugly real fast. At our house their is a lock on every door, except for Maxwells room and the play room. He loves to excape from the house any chance he gets and runs as far and as fast as he can! Love ya!
I'm so glad your back (me too, I lost your blog with a problem on our computer, so good 'ol Tricia just e-mialed me the link again.) You're such a kick. That paralized story made me laugh out loud. That Chase is such a tender heart! And it sounds like the twins are keeping you hopping. So fun to catch up on your life!
