Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

I told my sister Stephanie I would give her a good choc. chip cookie recipe. So, I thought I'd share it on our blog. My sister in law Becky made these and they were delish...she got the recipe from her and Kirk's cousin's wife, Kristy.

Here it is:

1 1/2 sticks butter
1/3 cup shortening (Crisco)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
mix above

add:
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
mix above

add:
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
3 1/2 cups flour
1 bag chocolate chips (I like 1/2 milk chocolate and 1/2 white chocolate)
mix above

Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
